Welcome to our 2nd Steiner Tractor Parts Antique Tractor Photo & Story Contest.

Last year’s catalog photo contest was a big hit and left many people asking for more tractor stories. So this year we will be hosting a tractor stories contest. We want to hear your tractor story. Did you find a rusty tractor that needed restoration? Did you inherit the family tractor that has kept the farm running for 50 years? Or did you just catch the antique tractor bug? Show us your photo & share with us your story. We will be rewarding all stories and pictures appearing in the catalog with a $50.00 gift card to Steiner Tractor Parts. Additional stories will be featured on our website throughout the year and will be sent a free Steiner Hat when they appear. All entrants to the contest will receive a coupon for a free photo mouse pad with their next order, so everyone is a winner!

  How will we determine the winner?
  

  Since the catalog is representative of our business in both print and digital forms for an entire year, the following points will be considered when making our decision:
  • - The winners will be antique tractor(s) that we sell parts for and that are unique, interesting, and representative of our business. Winners should also have a story that will captivate the hearts of our readers.
  • - Keep in mind we sell for all tractor brands so if you would like to put your Allis in a picture with John, we’d love to see it!
  • -This year we will be selecting a number of winners that will appear in various places in our catalog. Some or one may appear on the cover, but all will winners will appear somewhere in the catalog.
  • -We will consider every photo regardless of the number of hits, # of votes, or date submitted.
    

• What is the timeline of the contest?

  The contest opens for participation on April 1, 2011 and will run through June 15, 2011. Dan Steiner will review the photos, stories and vote tallies to determine the winners. We will announce the winner on July 4, 2011 via website, email, Facebook, and Twitter. The winners will be contacted by email to handle distribution of the prizes.

  Who can enter?

  Anyone with an antique tractor, a digital camera, a great story and a desire to win is encouraged to enter! You do not have to be a current customer of Steiner Tractor Parts to participate; however, if you are a customer, feel free to make a note of the products you used for your restoration in the description.

  I have a lot of tractors, how many times can I enter?

  Each individual is permitted to submit their single best tractor photo & story to the contest. You may include additional photos showing before & after or the progress within the story. Your photo must be less than 3MB (though we may contact the winners for a higher resolution for print purposes) to upload through the website. So, choose your favorite machine, or best story for submission!

  How will I get people to vote for my tractor photo?

  Feel free to use the built in share features to share your entry with your social network including family and friends. The more votes, the better! Also, if you provide more details about the make & model of the tractor and the location of the photo, you are more likely to entice people to vote for your tractor. People like to see a great photo and then learn a little bit about it, so including a good story with your photo submission will help to get people to vote for you.

  What will the winner receive?

  We will select a minimum of 20 winners to be used in our catalog. The winners will receive bragging rights from antique tractor enthusiasts everywhere. Your tractor will be featured in our 2012 catalog, on our website and possibly in other advertising materials during 2012. In addition, you will receive a $50 gift card to our store. Everyone who participates in the contest will receive an email with a coupon code good for a free magnetic mouse pad with your next order. Use this mouse pad to show off your tractor next to the computer.

  Am I required to sign a release form?

  All participants will be required to accept the release for republishing rights when submitting photos. All winners must sign and return a copy of the same terms before prizes are distributed.
